Welcome to the website of the West Lancashire Lacemakers. Our group was formed in 1979 and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for our members to practice and develop their lacemaking skills.
We meet one Monday evening most months and have occasional Saturday meetings throughout the year. In addition to our regular meetings, we organise workshops with an experienced tutor along with two weekends away. Further information about the events we hold and also to see some examples of the work our members have produced please see the other pages of our website.
New members are always welcome, from complete beginners to experienced lacemakers and if you are interested in finding out more, please read our Welcome Letter and email our secretary through the Contact Us page.

The presentation of fine craftsmanship in lacemaking.
And the lives that bind us
Through needles. pins, patterns
Hand us our leisure, and the joy
That brings us, such fabric, that threads it all
