Courses and workshops

At present we are unable to offer any courses or workshops while we seek out a new tutor(s). We have continued to timetable Saturday meetings into our annual schedule though. These meetings are free to attend. All our members have different levels and skills of lacemaking and, while we would not class ourselves as tutors, we will use these days to help each other and share our own knowledge and expertise - however limited. We also extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to 'have a go' at lacemaking and we will do our best to show you the basics. If you are not a member and would like to come along please let us know via the details on the 'contact us' page. we can then look out for you and make sure we have resources and equipment ready for you to use and loan.

Twice a year we have a residential weekend away (4pm Friday to 4pm Sunday) at the Crofter’s Hotel in Garstang with Louise West as our tutor. Places must be booked in advance. It is essential that you discuss what you will be working on in advance with Louise and give her a copy of the pattern. Actual dates of Garstang residential weekends can be seen in 'Calendar'. Cost is approximately £250 but this depends on the numbers attending. Please contact our Courses secretary for more information.
