Coronavirus - Important information about meetings and courses

Due to the current health situation our venue at Moor Lane Church is currently closed. With regret this means that West Lancashire Lacemakers will not be holding any meetings or courses until further notice. As soon as the hall is open again we will notify all members about meetings and courses resuming. The AGM that was due to take place in April 2020 was deferred and took place in an alternative format in June 2020.

We wish all our members well during this time and hope you stay safe and well and have the opportunity to make lace. Don't forget we always welcome bookmarks and decorations to sell once we are able to demonstrate again. Watch this space for any news and if you have pictures of any work you complete please forward to Jane Banks for inclusion on the website.

Best wishes to all on behalf of West Lancashire Lacemakers Committee

Welcome to the website of the West Lancashire Lacemakers. Our group was formed in 1979 and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for our members to practice and develop their lacemaking skills.

We meet one Monday evening most months and have occasional Saturday meetings throughout the year.

In addition to our regular meetings, we organise workshops with an experienced tutor along with two weekends away. Further information about the events we hold and also to see some examples of the work our members have produced please see the pages of our website.

New members of all standards are always welcome and if you are interested in finding out more, please email our secretary through the contact us page.
